The Society

Code of conduct

Hard on ideas, gentle with people. Six rules, kept by everyone and enforced by moderators who answer to the members.
  1. Argue with ideas, not people

Challenge any claim, including the author's and the host's. Never mock, belittle or attack a member.

  2. No preaching, no recruiting

Bring your faith or your doubt to the discussion; do not use the society to convert, recruit or sell.

  3. Keep the circle's confidence

What members share about their lives in circles and reflections stays in the society. Do not screenshot or repost it.

  4. Share only what you may share

No pirated books or files, no copyrighted text beyond a short quotation for discussion.

  5. Protect children

In Pages of Hope work, follow the safeguarding code without exception. Never photograph or post a child without written consent.

  6. Moderators act for the room

Moderators may hide posts, lock threads and escalate concerns. Every moderation action is logged and can be reviewed.

Any member can report a post, reflection, review or question. Moderators review every report; serious or repeated breaches may lead to suspension under the membership terms.
